NAWAL KISHORE
Nawal Kishore shows his audience enigmatic female figures and presents them with intricacy, and sensuality. The singular female figures which are often seen as the subject of his paintings draw the viewer into a myriad of feelings, expressions, colours, and moods. His women are curvaceous, vibrant and are living in a world of their own. His figures also draw strength and character from his sense of cubism. His canvases are not just soaked in colour and texture, but carry a plethora of intricacy. Kishore`s chosen colours, contours and themes are an assurance of his confidence and love for life. Nawal Kishore has quite mastered the technique of using grey to add light and depth to his works.
Hailing from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, Nawal did his B.F.A and M.F.A from Lucknow College of Arts & Crafts, Lucknow.
He has held many solo shows at various coveted art galleries and his works have been exhibited in several groups shows both nationally and internationally.
He has also been a much-awarded artist and his creations adorn various government offices and private collections.
